Prizes will be awarded to all players from the top 3 teams as well as first and second place overall generals. To ensure as many players get prizes, no one will receive more than one prize based on win-loss and battle points. Players will always receive the maximum value prize.
A special prize will be awarded for best painted army.
Don’t have a team?
Check out our FB page for the event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/626692160767837. Introduce yourself and the army or armies you want to play and get matched up with other players. We will do our best to match you up with other players.
Any GW codex or dataslate released within ONE week of the event. Forge world army lists are only allowed if they were updated and published after the release date for the 7th edition battle rulebook. Older forgeworld lists are not allowed.
The tournament organizers will not be accountable for the consequences of a list not being correct. All reasonability for the list lies on the player, his team, and his opponent.
A copy of your list must be presented to your opponent before each round starts, so bring copies to the event.
When a round begins if it is found that a player has an illegal list then the entire team will not be awarded any points for the round and their opponents will be awarded win for that round. It will be in each team’s best interest to double check their teammate’s lists.
Modeling and Painting
Modeling and painting follows the ITC guidelines here. Your army must be painted to a 3 color minimmum (primer is a color) and follow WYSIWYG to a reasonable standard.
Each team will consist of 3 players. Each team will need a captain.
A faction is limited to/may only be used by ONE player per team. The player has full access to their chosen faction or factions. Example: Player A takes Tyranids and allies Astra Millitarum, resulting in no other
player on the team being able to use anything from the Tyranids Faction or anything from the Astra Millitarum faction.
Please note that if a unit states that it may be taken by any number of factions, it adopts the same faction as the armies that chose to take it. Example: An Imperial Knight Castigator may be taken by any “Armies of the Imperium” faction. That means that if it were taken by a Dark Angels player, it adopts the Dark Angels faction and can thus be placed in combined arms detachment for its lord of war slot. This also means that it does not prevent other players from the same team from taking models with the imperial knight faction.
A special character may not be used more than once per team. Example: Belakor could not be used by a Daemon player and then be used by a Chaos Space Marine Player on the same team.

Team pairings and tables will be announced 10 minutes before the game starts. After team parings have been announced, each team will receive a copy of the other team’s players and lists. Both captains will roll off and the winner chooses which team will submit a player and their army list first. The captain who goes first will submit a player and their list and will select the table that the game will occur on. The other captain then chooses a player to play against them. The captain who went second then submits a player and their list and the table for the other team pair against. This process repeats until all players have been paired and assigned tables.
