Episode 88: Getting Ready for Boise Cup 2019
In this episode, we talk about Boise Cup 2019, the largest 40K event in our area. The head tournament organizer Captain A joins us to talk about what makes an event successful for both competitive and casual players. We talk about the details of the Boise Cup and how it has grown and improved. We also have a discussion with Brian from the Splintermind podcast about how a casual player can get ready to attend a major 40K event for the first time.
Held at ABU Games on June 29th/30th. A 5-round event with a cap of 74 players.
2000 Points, ITC missions.
The event is currently sold out! But you can be put on the waiting list on the event page.
Awards for Best General, Sportsmanship, Painted, and Overall, and Best in Faction.
Goal is for themed terrain that is also functional.
Tables with 360 access all around.
Boise Cup will have scores for the hobby track.
Paint judging will use a rubric.
